BBQ

We had a BBQ ,,, it was for a special reason. One of my students is to married on June 8th.

She was one of my first students… a very special talent. She has a special heart, and is a very talented painter.

We love the essence she brings to the studio, and she has a beautiful soul. I gave her a lantern to set fire to rise to the heavens to wish her a perfect day, filled with the happiness we all wished her and for her future and her happiness. We all love Claire. x

Have You Ever Had Wait

Have you ever had to wait

Inside your brain just heaves and sighs

…tomorrow maybe better

entangled knots holding fires

High is a rope

Climbing crampons digging weather sky

Entering unknown oxygen

Desiring  aiming high

Marks lay connections folding dawns

I assemble from my heart

Watching Irises form

Souls imparting journey charts

I paint eyes beneath the clay

I paint held fragile cores

I paint the room behind still days

I have a wait …my desire exploding my artistic orb

Reflecting all that has been…

Waiting I know I hold much more

I have written the above, reflecting on my emotional self, for I long for a one time chance, will it be mine to be given to. I know I am not in charge of this. It is the Universe to decide. Here’s to the decision.

I know my desire to have this is very strong. I will wait.

Musical Notes

I saw amazing journeys on the first rung of their ladders last night.

 

I was lucky enough to be invited to go along to the launch party of the music festival which will be hitting my home town /village of Tickhill in September of this year.

 

I can’t wait to be a part of it. The talent I witnessed last night was awesome.

I am a little envious of the time they have left to follow there dreams. I need to get on with mine.

Watching the amazing passion and souls of these artists last night was very humbling, I hope that my dream will develop if I keep going, and thank fully God gave me that strength..

 

Here is to you all the people who hit my note last night..your words and music were very moving .. keep going.

He is listening…. you have the desire souls and passion to be successful. excited for all of you. 

Scarecrow Festival was lots of fun in my village of Tickhill May 4th 2013 …My entry Mr Hockney…sat and painted on my app Artstudio… will down load them now..Mr Hockney used the same app…its great fun and addictive..but a little complicated until you find your way around it.. met some lovely people … talked lots :-)

Margaret….Time Table’………be inspired by your gifts…what a lady…she shared her gift of tenacity… wow..I have tenacity… got that from my mother..another amazing lady.

I have wanted to involve children..i.e. youngsters..but shied away from them…to teach in my studio….( as I have taught them for ever.).but I have had so many enquires and I have had so much experience.. I thought I would add a few workshops to see what would happen…..

I have bought a book called …Develop Your Technique and Unfold…looking forward to reading it….

I have also written something about our late prime minister …. Margaret Thatcher… she was a very inspirational figure to all women… she had a lot of guts and determination… and I understand how Carol must feel losing her mother…after all she was a mother..and a grandmother..not just a prime minister… I have attached it… I would hope that when they receive this in downing street for I am going to send it to them… they might acknowledge it… I will let you know..

Truth standing charisma stacks
Roaring fire, heart no cracks
Tall strength, mires diverse
Thumping fists passionate verse
Received applause, knives thrust no ill
Men in cloaks. hidden thrills
Driven focused eyes alert
Marching in when lives get hurt
Diving searching tasting all
Whirring faces feeling tall
Viewing transparent seas in air
Opposite accents given snares

Focused armies winning Wars
Engaging striving, sowing deals
Walking water lifting heels........
Throngs heated skin stinging thrones
Backward glances naked phones
Conflict anarchy banners songs
Future minutes all hours long
working tough future miles
Friends enemy’s viewing freeing smiles
Eleven and a half a winner, then to fall
If I only had half of that... I would win it all …….

I have been  challenged to help a local publisher and editor, challenge herself to produce a painting which she thought she was not capable of… I proved her wrong… I hope you will share in my Artiztime studio… go find me on Face book…

 

My challenge at the moment is to paint a portrait of a couple who asked me to take a photo of them in St Marks square in Venice …last August.. I am in the process of painting that moment for them ..the moment is special to them… as the man asked the lady to marry him… she and I were very surprised..she said yes… and now I am to paint that moment for them … to be passed down as an air loom for ever… I hope they like it when its finished…. )

I would love to help you…. be creative…. I am still and always will be challenging my inner creative self….

The Orange Field

There is a spider in an old house beyond an orange field
a girl who comes to visit him
..... wonders through the lanes at dusk
picking oranges underneath a harvest yield
Inside the old house is a light source...through a chink finding little light
Over head a sunset a colour hue
Walls can tell stories
Memories musing to ignite
A story of a strong light, one that once she viewed
Years pass….a nanny now
boy’s, hit parade a school
Playing, these children
a life line ...happy smiles
Laughing pink blossom linked in togetherness miles

Stood with many strangers
ones deaf, some very blind
wasted care and time with them
lessons for hours; life claim
Years acting, leaving lonely, strong held wings to find
a trend repeated bad timing, heart heavy, but one, could make it climb
Far away beyond this field, is a void

… Tried, but cannot reach
Coming, again and again a voice that calls
a connection incomplete
Wishes; light to enter

To be within again
White feathers float down; warm spirits
holding beliefs looking after heartfelt strain
Sat in the chink of a window
a spider catches light
weaving his catcher web; innocent stranger eaten; stay alive

Watching self- living
tricking those who fall
Describes past land harboured
....lessons learnt, streams ..good-for-nothing souls
This girl who comes to visit
Suffered; learnt this
a double Wind character
Is an inner strength, passion painterly descriptive gift
Spreading orange warmth
Red haired light in an orange field
Helping, it understands
life is connected to timing .... Time destiny deals
